history of football
The history of association football, known simply as football, is often regarded as of 1863, year of foundation of The Football Association, although its origins, like those of other football codes, can be traced back several centuries in the past, particularly in the British Isles during the Middle Ages
In 1848 representatives of different schools in England gathered at the University of Cambridge Cambridge to create the code to serve as a basis for creating the rules of modern football. Finally in 1863 in London were formalized the first rules of association football
